If you’ve ever been to Chickpet, you know how it is. It’s crowded, loud, and full of energy every single day. We are located at 193-197 on the 5th Cross, right near the 4th Main. This part of the city never really sleeps. Our shop is tucked in there among all the other businesses, and we’ve been part of this chaos for a good while now. The space is filled with stacks of silk and different fabrics, and sometimes it feels like there’s barely enough room to move when we get a lot of people coming in at once. We don't have fancy displays or those big bright lights you see in the malls. It’s more about the actual stock we have on the shelves. The stairs are a bit narrow, and the floors might creak a little, but it’s got character. We spend most of our time folding and unfolding things for folks who come by looking for something specific. The tea guy comes around twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a quick breather. Dealing with the 5th Cross traffic is just a part of life here. You get used to the noise of the carts and the people shouting outside. It’s a very local way of doing things, nothing too polished or formal. We just open up in the morning, sweep the floor, and get to work until it’s time to head home.
