Annapoorna Refreshments

If you spend any time in the Marathahalli area of Bangalore, you know how hectic the Kundanahalli Gate can be. Our place, Annapoorna Refreshments, is at No.2 right on the ITPL Main Road. It is a very busy intersection and the traffic outside is almost constant. We mostly serve people who are on their way to work in the tech parks or locals who need a quick break from the noise. Our shop is small and we focus on simple refreshments like tea, coffee, and quick snacks. The 560037 area has changed so much with all the new buildings and people moving in, but we have stayed right here at the gate. We don't have a big seating area or any fancy decor. People usually just stand around, have their drink, and then move on to wherever they are going. We start the day very early to catch the first group of commuters. The air outside is often dusty from the road, so we are constantly cleaning the counters and the stove. Our team is small, just a couple of us who have worked together for a long time. We don't have any corporate goals or polished speeches. We just try to get the orders out fast because everyone in this part of town is in a rush. It is a simple life here at the busy gate.
