Our little shop, Ambeshri Novelty, is located inside the Anandappa Complex, which is right near the government hospital in Yelahanka. It’s a busy corner of the world because of all the people coming and going from the hospital and the nearby bus stops. We carry a whole range of small things that people might need in a hurry. You’ll find things like pens, notebooks, hair clips, and small toys for children. The shop isn't very big, so we use every inch of the walls to display our stock. Sometimes it feels a bit cluttered, but we usually know exactly where a specific item is hidden. We’ve been here for several years, and we’ve seen the complex change around us as new shops open and close. The hospital staff often comes in for a quick snack or a new pen during their breaks. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so we keep a small fan going near the counter. We aren't a big chain store, just a local spot run by people who live in the neighborhood. We don't use any fancy displays or bright neon lights. It’s just a plain storefront with glass cases full of trinkets and household items. People stop by for a chat while they look for a birthday card or some sewing thread. It’s a quiet life, mostly just keeping the shelves stocked and greeting the regulars who pass by every day.
