Altus Agro Pvt Ltd is tucked away in Jayanagar Horamavu at number 27. It's not a flashy office, mostly just desks, some samples of seeds or whatever we are handling that week, and a lot of phone calls. We deal with the agricultural side of things, so there is always talk about crops and shipping schedules. It can get a bit hectic when the season changes. Our space here in Horamavu is where the planning happens. We spend a lot of hours looking at lists and talking to suppliers. It’s not always exciting work, but it’s what we do. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit there waiting for the generator to kick in so we can get back to the computers. The team is small, just a few of us making sure the orders go to the right places. We don’t really have a big showroom or anything like that. If you come by 27, you’ll just see a regular building where we handle the logistics. It's a lot of coordination and making sure the paperwork is sorted out for the farmers and the buyers. Some days the phones don't stop ringing, and other days it's quiet enough to actually get through the filing. We just try to keep things moving along without too much trouble. It's practical work that needs doing, day in and day out, to keep the supply chain moving.
