Alphatech Engineering

Alphatech Engineering is located at 13/2 in Nagarbhavi 2nd Stage, near the Timaliawad area. It’s a decent neighborhood, a mix of houses and small businesses like ours. The workshop itself is a bit of a squeeze. We have our engineering setups packed in pretty tight to make the most of the floor space. You can usually smell cutting oil and hear the hum of the lathes from the street before you even walk in. I’ve been working here a long while, and the routine hasn't changed much. We start the day by clearing off the workbenches from whatever we were doing the night before. The lighting isn't the best, so we use a lot of those moveable desk lamps to see what we are doing on the smaller parts. Timaliawad is a busy little pocket, and there’s always someone coming by to ask if we can mill a piece of steel or look at a drawing they’ve brought on a scrap of paper. We don't have a secretary or a waiting room; you just walk right into where the work is happening. Sometimes the floor gets a bit slick, so we have to be careful where we step. We have an old calendar on the wall from three years ago that no one has bothered to change. It’s just part of the furniture now, along with the oily rags. It’s a very hands-on kind of life. We aren't trying to be anything other than a place that gets the job done.
