If you look for us at the BDA Complex in Austin Town, you will find Ali Real Estates at shop number 82. This place has been our base for a long time, and the building itself has seen a lot of years go by. It’s a bit of a maze inside the complex with all the different shops, but people usually find their way to us eventually. We deal with all sorts of property stuff, mostly just helping people find a place to stay or a small shop to rent around this neighborhood. It is a lot of paperwork and sitting around waiting for owners to call us back. My desk is usually covered in folders and old maps of the area that have coffee stains on them. Austin Town is a tight community, and we know most of the people who have lived here for decades. We don't do any flashy advertising or anything like that. People just walk in because they saw our sign or heard about us from a neighbor. The office is small, and when more than three people come in at once, it feels very crowded. We spend a lot of time walking around to show houses, often climbing stairs that are too steep or dealing with keys that don't want to turn in the locks. It’s just the daily grind of the real estate world here, trying to match people with whatever is available on the market right now.
