Our office is at number 15 in the CSI Compound, located on 2nd Cross Mission Road, not too far from Katargam Road. It’s a bit of a tucked-away spot, which is actually quite nice compared to the louder main streets. We work in real estate, so our day is mostly spent talking to people about houses or plots of land. We have a couple of desks, some chairs for visitors, and a big map of the local area taped to the wall so we can show people where things are. It’s a very casual atmosphere here. We don't wear suits or anything like that; usually, it’s just shirts and trousers. Sometimes clients come in and we sit for an hour just talking about the neighborhood and how it has changed over the years. The compound has a few other small businesses, so there is a bit of a community feel among us. We share news and sometimes help each other out. The office itself is simple, with tiled floors and a ceiling fan that clicks a little bit when it’s on the high setting. We spend a lot of time out of the office too, walking around and looking at properties, so the door might be locked for an hour here or there. It’s a straightforward way to make a living, and we enjoy the chance to meet different people every day. We’ve been here long enough that most of the locals know where to find us.
