Akshya Cabs

Akshya Cabs is situated over in HBR Layout, specifically near the BDA area at 117, 8th Cross. It’s a quiet enough street most mornings until the drivers start coming in to check their schedules. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a long time. People around here know us mostly by word of mouth. It isn't a massive corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. Just a simple place where we manage the cars and keep track of who needs to be where. Sometimes the phones ring off the hook and other times it's just quiet with us drinking coffee and looking at the logs. We handle a lot of local trips around the neighborhood, but we also go further out when people need to catch a flight or get to an early meeting. The traffic in this part of town can be tricky, so we always tell everyone to leave a bit earlier than they think they need to. Our drivers are local guys who know the shortcuts better than the GPS does usually. We keep the paperwork on a wooden desk that has seen better days. It is a family-run kind of thing, so you might see different cousins or friends helping out depending on the day. We just try to get people where they need to go without making a big fuss about it.
