Akshaya Car Rentals

Akshaya Car Rentals is based out of Cottonpet, in the VHBCS Layout. If you’ve ever been to this part of town, you know it can be a bit of a maze with all the small streets and turnings. We’ve got our small office at number 10 where we keep all the keys and the paperwork. It’s usually a bit chaotic in the mornings when the drivers are coming in to pick up their assignments. There is a lot of checking of schedules and making sure the cars are clean and ready to go. I started this business with just one car a long time ago, and it grew bit by bit without much planning. We aren't some big app-based company; we’re just a local rental spot. Most of our customers are people from the neighborhood or local businesses that need a vehicle for a day or two. The office is small and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it’s where we do our business. My nephew helps me with the bookings, and we have a few drivers who have been with us since the beginning. We spend a lot of time on the phone, talking to people about where they need to go and what time they need to be there. It’s a lot of coordination, and sometimes things go wrong like a flat tire or a late return, but we just deal with it as it happens. We just try to keep the cars moving.
