Aishwarya Tea Industries

Our spot is 114/11 in the Patel Puttiah Industrial Estate, right off the main Mysore Road. If you know the area, you know how loud the traffic can get with all the buses and trucks zooming past all day long. Inside the estate, it is a bit more industrial. We have been operating here for a while, and the walls have that slightly yellowed look from years of tea processing. There is always a fine layer of tea dust on the shelves, no matter how much we try to wipe it down. We have some old machinery that rattles quite a bit, but it still gets the job done better than some of the newer stuff we have looked at. The staff here is mostly local people who can walk or bike to work. We spend our mornings sorting through different grades of leaves and getting the packaging ready. It is not a glamorous job, and it can get pretty hot in the afternoons when the sun beats down on the roof. We usually keep the big side doors open to catch whatever breeze comes through. There isn't much in the way of an "About Us" story to tell; we just show up, do the mixing and the packing, and make sure the trucks get loaded properly before they head back out onto Mysore Road. It is a steady routine that hasn't changed much over the years, and we are fine with that.
