Our Indian branch office for Agie Charmills (Sea) P.Ltd is located at 31/1 in Seetharampalaya. It's just off ITPL Road on the way to Mahadevapura. The traffic around here is usually quite bad, so it takes a while to get in every morning. We deal with machines that do very specific types of cutting. It’s technical stuff, but we try to keep the explanations simple for the people who use them. The office is functional. We have a small area for showing how the machines work and then some desks for the service engineers. When a machine somewhere else breaks down, our guys grab their bags and head out. We aren't a giant team here in this branch. We mostly focus on helping the local shops get their equipment running right. There’s always a lot of paperwork to deal with because of the parts coming in and out. We drink a lot of coffee to stay awake during the long afternoons. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we moved in, with new buildings going up everywhere. We just stay in our corner and do what needs doing. It’s not a fancy place, just a workspace where we solve problems. People know where to find us if they need help with their equipment. We try to be helpful without making things more complicated than they need to be.
