Ade

We are located at J-112, on the first floor of a building in Seshadripuram, Bangalore. It’s on Second Street, right in the Anjaneya Block. The office is pretty modest. We’ve been here at Ade for a while, and the space has sort of shaped itself around how we work. There are a lot of papers and old files because we don't like throwing things away if they might be useful later. Being in Seshadripuram means we are right in the thick of the city, so it’s never really quiet. You can hear the bikes and cars outside all day long. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything, just the address on the door. Our work is pretty technical and specific, so we spend most of the day hunched over our desks. We aren't the type to have meetings about "culture" or "synergy." We just talk over the partitions when something needs to be discussed. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the backup to kick in, which is just part of living in Bangalore. It’s a small team, so everyone knows everyone’s business. We keep things simple and honest. We don't try to impress anyone who walks in; we just show them the work we’ve been doing. It’s a practical, slightly cramped, but functional place to spend the day.
