A N Engineering Works

Our workshop is located at Magadi 63. It’s a place filled with the smell of metal and the sound of machines running most of the day. If you walk inside, you’ll see iron rods and various scrap pieces piled up in the corners. We’ve got a few heavy lathes and welding tools that stay pretty warm from constant use. The floor is concrete and definitely shows the wear and tear of moving heavy equipment around for years. It’s not a quiet place, that’s for sure. Usually, there’s some grinding going on or the clatter of tools hitting the workbench. We wear our work clothes and they usually have a bit of grease or dust on them by lunchtime. The neighborhood knows us because of the noise, but they don't seem to mind much. We just get on with the tasks at hand, whether it's fixing a part or making something from scratch. The lighting is a bit dim in the back, so we use some portable lamps when we need to see the fine details. There isn't a fancy waiting area, just a couple of stools if someone needs to sit for a minute. We keep a logbook on a dusty desk to track what we’re doing. It’s honest work and keeps us busy from sunup to sundown. Sometimes we have to move stuff out to the street just to have enough room to move around inside the shop. It's just the way it works.
