A F Tea Stall

The tea stall is located over at 27 BTM Layout. We are really close to the police station, so it is easy to find if you are in the area. Most of the time, the place is full of people stopping for a quick cup of chai before they head to work. We open up pretty early in the morning when the air is still a bit cool. You can hear the milk boiling and the sound of glasses clinking. It’s not a big space, just a small corner where we make tea and keep some snacks. Some people like their tea with extra ginger, others want it plain, and we just do what they ask. The police officers from next door often come by for a break. It gets crowded during the rainy season because everyone wants something hot. We have been at this spot for some time now, and we have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. There is always someone standing around chatting about their day or the news. We do not have fancy chairs or anything, just a few spots to stand or sit for a minute. The kettle is always on the stove. We go through a lot of milk packets and sugar every day. Sometimes we run out of biscuits by the afternoon if the crowd is big. It is just a simple life here at A F Tea Stall, serving tea and watching the traffic go by on the main road.
