4 M Engineers

We are over at No. 16 on 8th Main in Mahalaxmi Puram. It’s part of the Mahalaxmi Layout which can get quite crowded with traffic in the evenings. Our shop isn't very large, but we pack a lot into it. We are engineers, so our days are filled with measuring twice and cutting once, or at least trying to. There is always a smell of machine oil in the air and the floor is concrete and stained. We have some old lathes and a few newer drills that we use every day. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear a nice suit. We usually have grease under our fingernails. People come to us when they have a part that broke or need something specifically made. We don't have a big sales team. Usually, one of us wipes his hands on a rag and comes out to talk to you. We've been at this for a long time. Some of the neighbors have been here as long as we have. We know the guy who runs the corner store and the people at the bank. It is just a regular life. We work hard, we take our breaks, and we go home to our families. There aren't any big speeches about what we do. We just fix things and build things when people ask us to. It’s simple.
