We are located over in JP Nagar, which is a busy and crowded part of the city. The shop itself is tucked into the neighborhood, and it is usually full of rows of food items like different kinds of rice, pulses, and spices. Since everything we carry is organic, the store has a specific smell to it, mostly like raw grains and sometimes a bit of earthy turmeric. We spend a lot of our time during the day just restocking the shelves because things tend to go out the door pretty fast. The floor gets a lot of foot traffic, so someone is usually around with a broom trying to keep the place looking decent. It isn't a massive supermarket where you need a map to find the milk; it is just a regular local store where things are easy to grab. We don't play loud music or have bright, flashing lights. It is just a simple place to come and get your groceries for the week. Sometimes the delivery vans block the street for a few minutes while we unload the new crates, but we try to move fast so the neighbors don't get annoyed. We just focus on the daily routine of checking the bins and making sure the bags are sealed properly. It’s a straightforward way to spend the day, and we like the rhythm of the work we do here in this community.
