Wishi Fresh Farms Private Limited operates out of Flat No 301 on the 3rd floor of Sree Aditya Elite. It’s in the Manyata Ambhrinyi Layout over in Seegehalli, KR Puram. It might seem strange to have a farm business in a flat, but this is where the planning and the logistics happen. We have desks pushed up against the walls and whiteboards covered in scribbles that only we understand. KR Puram is always crowded, so getting to the office can be a bit of a struggle some days. Once we are inside, it’s a bit quieter. We spend a lot of time on the phone with people out at the actual farm sites. There are always stacks of paperwork on the table near the window. We try to keep it neat, but when things get busy, that goes out the window. The kitchen is mostly just for coffee and quick lunches. We don't have a receptionist. If the door rings, whoever is closest just goes and opens it. We’ve been here for a bit and we know the other people in the building. It’s a decent place to work. We don't have fancy office furniture or art on the walls. We have maps and calendars. It is practical. Some evenings we stay late just to finish up the billing or to talk about the next season's planting. It is just the way we do things here in Seegehalli, keeping it simple and direct.
