You can find us on the fourth floor of the Shree Complex on St. John’s Road in Bangalore. Being in the middle of a big city like this is a bit different from where our farmers actually live and work. We work with tribal communities, helping them organize their farming and get their products sorted for sale. It is a lot of coordination between the rural areas and the city market. The office is usually pretty busy with people coming in and out all day. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sitting around the table trying to figure out the best way to move things along. It’s not always smooth sailing. Dealing with different groups and transport can be tricky, especially with the traffic here. We just try to be honest about what can be done. The people in these tribal communities have a lot of knowledge about the land, and we try to respect that while handling the business side of things here in Unit-413. It is a mix of traditional ways and modern city life. We aren't trying to be something we're not. We are just a group of people working together to make sure these farmers get a fair shake. The coffee in the office is usually cold because we get distracted by the work. That is just how it is. We stay focused on the task and try to do right by the people we represent.
