Vighata Farmers Producer Company Limited is located right on the ground floor near Belavi Cross. We are pretty close to the kids school here in Tumkur, so there is always a lot of noise and traffic around when classes let out. We are a small group of folks trying to manage the farming business in our local area. It’s not like those big companies in the city. Our office is a bit small and we have stacks of bags and papers everywhere. We mostly work with the farmers around Tumkur to help get their stuff sold. Sometimes the phone rings all day and other times it is quiet. It can be a struggle to get everything organized, but we do what we can. People just drop by whenever they have a question about their crops or the prices. We don't have any fancy brochures. Just a desk and some chairs where we sit and talk about the season. Being near the school makes it easy for people to find us. We've been at this for a while now. Most of the people working here are from nearby families. It’s practical work. We focus on the daily tasks of moving produce and helping out the local growers. It is just a regular local business trying to stay afloat and help out the community at the same time. We keep our doors open for anyone in the neighborhood who needs to talk shop.
