Tene Farmers Producer Company Limited is based out of No-60 in Thimme Gowdana Doddi. If you are driving down Manchana Bele Road, you will see us right near the big water tank. That water tank is how everyone finds our spot. We are just a group of local farmers who decided to team up. It makes things a bit easier when you have more people involved in the same work. We deal with whatever crops are in season around here. The road outside gets a bit dusty when the tractors go by, but it’s a good place to work. We spend most of our mornings sitting around the office or out in the fields checking on how things are growing. It’s not a big corporate setup. Most of the time, we are just dressed in our regular clothes, dealing with the daily chores that come with farming. We try to help each other out with supplies and finding buyers for what we grow. It’s a lot of paperwork sometimes, which none of us really likes, but it has to be done. We are proud of being from this area. Having the water tank nearby is lucky because it’s a central point for the village. If you stop by, you’ll likely see a few of us drinking tea and talking about the rain or the market prices. We just keep things simple and focus on the dirt and the seeds.
