Sasyashri Farmer Producer Companylimited is based over in the New Housing Colony. We are at house number 8-10-267Th, which is quite close to Ganesh Maidan. It's a busy neighborhood with kids playing and people going about their business. We opened this place because we wanted a local hub for all the farming activity in the area. Our office is basically a converted front room of a house. It feels more like a home than a place of business, which we actually prefer. People feel comfortable coming in to talk about their crops or ask for advice on fertilizers. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. Most of our work comes from word of mouth among the neighbors. There is always a pot of tea on the stove and some papers scattered across the dining table. Sometimes it gets a little disorganized, but we always find what we need eventually. We focus on helping the small farmers get their produce to market without losing all their money to middlemen. It’s hard work and the hours are long, especially during harvest season. We don't mind the struggle because it feels important to the community. Everyone here contributes what they can. Some help with the hauling and others handle the numbers. We are just a group of people trying to make a living and help our friends do the same. If you are near Ganesh Maidan, just ask for us.
