We are based out of Mahalakshmipuram, specifically at No 67 on West of Chord Road. If you know Bangalore North, you know it gets quite crowded around here. We deal with fresh crops, which means our mornings start very early, usually before the sun is even up. Handling produce is a messy business sometimes. You have to worry about the weather and how fast things might spoil. It isn't a glamorous job by any means. Our space on W.O.C Road is where we organize everything. Sometimes the delivery trucks get stuck in that famous Bangalore traffic, and we just have to wait it out. It's frustrating but that's life. We try to keep things moving as fast as we can. We’ve got a small crew of people who really know their vegetables. It’s not a corporate headquarters with glass walls. It’s a working office. We deal with farmers and suppliers all day long. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and other times it's quiet enough to hear the fans humming. We’ve been in this spot for a while and the neighborhood has changed a lot. There’s always construction going on nearby. We just focus on getting the crops from the fields to where they need to go. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We don't have much time for fancy stuff, we just want to get the vegetables out while they're still good. It's just how we run things.
