We started Raitayogi Farmers Producer Company Limited because people around Basaveshwar Nagar 3rd Main needed a way to work together. It’s mostly just us folks from the 1st Cross area trying to figure out how to get things done without dealing with middlemen all the time. Farming isn’t easy lately, and the costs for everything like seeds and tools just keep going up. We sit around the office here and talk about what crops look good this season and who has some extra equipment to share. It's not a big fancy operation. We just use this small space to keep our records and meet up when there’s a break in the fieldwork. Sometimes the rain doesn't come when it should, or the prices at the market are too low to even cover the fuel, so we thought if we grouped up, we might have a better shot. People stop by all day just to chat or ask about the latest paperwork. It gets a bit crowded and messy sometimes with bags and papers everywhere, but it's how we run things. We aren't experts at business talk, but we know the land and we know each other. Most of us have been farming since we were kids. Having this company name helps us talk to the bank or buy supplies in bulk. It’s just a group of neighbors trying to make a living and looking out for one another.
