Pescado Agro Farms (Opc) Private Limited

Pescado Agro Farms is tucked away in Mico Layout, which is just off Bannerghatta Road in Bangalore. It is an OPC, so it is a one-person type of setup even though we have some help here and there. The office is at number 204. Bannerghatta Road is always packed with cars and buses, so getting here can be a bit of a chore sometimes. We focus on the farming side of things. Agriculture is a tough business and there is always something to worry about like the weather or the soil. We spend our time trying to manage the farms and keep everything growing. It isn’t a glamorous job by any means. You get dirt on your shoes and you spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at maps. Being in Mico Layout is nice because it feels a bit more like a neighborhood even though the main road is right there. We just try to stay organized and keep the farms running properly. There’s a lot of paperwork involved in running an agro business that people don't really see. We just sit at the desk in room 204 and get through it. It’s a quiet place most of the time unless the traffic outside is really loud. We don’t do big speeches or anything like that. We just do the farming work and try to make sure things turn out okay at the end of the season.
