You can find us over at Kanaka Nilaya on Chunchaghattamain Road, right in the Siddappa Garden area of Ganapathipura. Pcv Seafoods Private Limited has been operating out of this spot for some time now, and it is a pretty lively place to be. Dealing with seafood means our days start way before the sun is up, usually when the first deliveries arrive from the coast. The road outside gets busy quickly with people heading to work, but we are already deep into sorting and checking everything by then. Our space, E127, is not very big, so we have to be organized to make sure everything stays fresh and moves out on time. The neighborhood has changed a bit over the years, with more shops opening up, but the local vibe remains the same. Most of us here have lived around this part of Bangalore for a long time, so we know the shortcuts and the best places to grab a quick tea. It is hard work and the smell of the sea follows us home most evenings, but we do not mind much. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers or making sure the transport is on schedule. It is a straightforward business without any of that corporate fluff. We just focus on getting the fish where it needs to go while it is still good. Most of our regulars just call us up when they need something specific.
