We’re located over at D No. 2/331/61 in Nithyananda Nagar, which is in the Derlakatte area. It’s a humid part of the country, so we’re always dealing with the dampness and the greenery that grows so fast here. We wake up early to get the produce sorted before it gets too hot. Our place isn't anything special to look at—just a functional building where we bring in what’s been harvested. There’s usually a bit of a mess with crates and baskets stacked up near the entrance. We don’t have a big marketing team or anyone in a fancy office. It’s mostly just us wearing old clothes, making sure the vegetables are clean and ready to go out. The road outside can get pretty muddy when it rains, which happens a lot in this region. We spend a lot of time talking to the drivers and checking the lists. Sometimes the power cuts out and we have to work by flashlight to finish the packing for the next day. It’s not a perfect system, but we’ve been doing it this way for a while and it works for us. We know the local farmers and they know where to find us. It’s a simple operation based on getting things from the soil to the people without too much fuss in between. We just do what needs to be done every morning.
