We are located at 90/2B/3 on Hipparagi Road. If you know where the Indane Gas office is in Jamkhandi, we are right near there. It is a practical spot for us to keep things moving. Jamkhandi is a busy place, and being in Bagalkot means we deal with a lot of different crops throughout the year. We used the name Krushi Dasohi because it felt meaningful to the people here. We are not corporate people with suits. Most of us have dirt under our fingernails most of the time. The office is just a place to keep the scales and the storage bags. We do not have air conditioning or fancy carpets on the floor. It is just a concrete floor and some wooden benches. People come by to drop off their produce or to see if we have any seeds left in the bins. We try to help each other out with the transport of goods. That is the main reason we formed this company in the first place. Shipping things alone was getting way too expensive for a single farmer. Now we share the trucks and the costs. We do not have a mission statement written on the wall in frames. We just have a calendar with the planting dates marked in red ink. We are not looking to expand into a big empire. We just want to make sure the farmers get a fair deal. If you drive down Hipparagi Road, you will see our gate.
