Kanaka Fisheries Producer Company

Our fisheries company is right on MG Road in Kanakapura, specifically at number 602 and 655. Kanakapura is a place with a lot of water nearby, which makes it a good spot for what we do. We aren't a big fancy outfit; we just use these locations to manage the fish producer business. MG Road is usually quite busy with people and vehicles, so there is always something happening outside the door. Most of our work involves the tanks and the water systems where the fish are raised. It is a wet and sometimes messy job, but we've been doing it for a while now. We have a lot of members who contribute to the producer group from across the district. We don't spend our time making glossy brochures or trying to sound like a big city corporation. We’re just local folks who know about fish and how to keep them healthy until they are ready for the market. Some days the work is slow and other days we are rushing around to get things sorted. Being on the main road makes it easy for people to find us, though parking can be a bit of a pain sometimes. We stay focused on the fish and the water quality, as that is what really matters at the end of the day. We are just trying to keep the business running.
