You can find us over at Hosa Road Handloom Weaver Producer Company Limited on 13th Cross in Bangalore South. We are tucked away in the Prasanna Agraha area, near the 4th Main. It is a bit different here than the big tech offices you see in other parts of Bangalore. We are about the old ways of making cloth. A lot of the weavers around here have been doing this for generations. We decided to form this company because the individual weavers were having a hard time finding good yarn or a place to sell their handloom work for a decent price. We aren't some big textile factory with huge machines. Most of the work is done by hand, and it takes time and patience. Our office is a place where we organize the work and keep track of who needs what. It is a bit crowded sometimes with bundles of cloth and thread everywhere. We don't have a marketing department or a fancy website team. We just know how to work a loom and how to tell a good weave from a bad one. It is honest work that keeps the tradition alive in our little corner of the city. We are just local people trying to make sure the handloom business doesn't disappear completely. It is a struggle but we stay busy every day.
