Hasanambe Horticulture Farmers Producer Company Limited is situated out on Bylahalli Road. Our specific spot is Anachihalli, Katha No 192, which falls under the Kandali Post in Hassan Tq. It’s a bit of a drive from the main town, but that’s where the plants are. We focus on horticulture, so our lives revolve around fruits and flowers mostly. The office is a sturdy little building right next to some fields. We spend more time outside in the dirt than we do sitting behind a desk. Sometimes the printer doesn't work or the internet goes out because of the weather, but we manage. It’s a practical business run by people who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty. We started this company to give the local growers a better way to sell what they produce. Hassan is famous for its greenery, and we want to keep it that way. We aren't interested in being a huge corporation with fancy titles. Most of us just go by our first names and do whatever task needs doing that day. If a truck needs loading, we all jump in. If there's a problem with a crop in the next village, we go and take a look. It’s a simple life, focused on the earth and what it gives us. We don't have a big sign, but people know where we are.
