Farminov Farms Private Limited is tucked away in Okalipuram. We are at number 12/7-1 on 5th Cross in the 1st Stage area. It’s a bit of a busy neighborhood, which is a change from the actual farms we work with. We started this company to bridge the gap between the city and the rural areas where the food actually grows. Our office is small and usually filled with papers and phone calls. We spend a lot of time coordinating with people out in the districts. Living and working in Okalipuram means we are right in the thick of things. It can be a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but we like being central. We handle a lot of the logistics and planning side of farming. It is not always easy, and sometimes things get delayed, but we just keep pushing through. We aren't a big, polished firm with a receptionist. Usually, it’s just one of us picking up the phone or writing down orders. We focus on the practical side of things like how to move goods efficiently. It’s interesting to see how the food gets from a small plot of land to a dinner table in the city. We are just a small team trying to make that happen without too much fuss. Our days are long, but we like the work we do here.
