Our place is right here on 2nd Cross, just a bit down from Aishwarya Bakery in Kundalahalli. Most days start early when the crates arrive. We spend a lot of time sorting through stuff to make sure things look okay. It’s a bit of a busy spot because of the school nearby, so the traffic on Vibgyor School Road can get pretty messy in the mornings and when school lets out. Inside the office, it’s mostly just us keeping track of what’s coming in and what’s going out to different parts of Bangalore. We’ve been here for a while now and most people know the building. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint but it works for what we do. Dealing with fresh fruits and vegetables means there isn’t much downtime. Sometimes the internet acts up when it rains, which is typical for this part of town. We just handle things as they come. It’s not a fancy setup, just a practical space where we can get the work done without too much fuss. You might see us grabbing a quick snack at the bakery when things get quiet for a minute. It’s a lot of manual work, moving things around and checking the quality of the produce. We don’t have any big corporate speeches. We’re just local people working in the food business here in Bangalore.
