We operate out of a quiet spot in Bilekahalli Dollars Colony, which is part of BTM 2nd Stage in Bangalore. Specifically, we are at No 60, on 3rd A Main, right at the 3rd Cross. It’s a residential-feeling area but it gets pretty busy with all the city traffic just a couple of streets away. We aren’t your typical Bangalore startup with bean bags and fancy coffee machines. Our space is pretty basic because we spend more time thinking about farms than about office decor. A few of us sit here and try to manage the logistics of what we are doing with the land. It’s a lot of phone calls to suppliers and checking on how the plants are doing far away from the city. Even though we are based in a colony, our minds are usually out in the dirt. The neighbors probably see us coming and going at odd hours. We have a few desks, some computers that sometimes act up, and a lot of folders. It’s a small group of us just trying to make the farm business work in a practical way. There’s no grand plan other than just getting the work done day by day. We like being in BTM because it’s easy for people to reach us, but we really prefer being out on the field when we get the chance. It’s just honest work in a busy city where we try to keep our feet on the ground.
