Douze Agri Research Private Limited

You can find us over at Nandi Enclave in the Banashankari 3rd Stage area of Bangalore. We have two units, 5503 and 5504, where we do our research work. Even though Bangalore is known for software and big technology, we decided to focus on agriculture instead. We spend our time researching how to make plants stronger and the soil healthier. We are not a huge company with massive funding. It is just a small, dedicated team that likes to look at data and run small trials. Our office is usually filled with jars of soil, packets of seeds, and a lot of notebooks. We are not very good at the corporate side of things like marketing or making fancy presentations. We prefer to spend our time studying the way crops grow and figuring out why certain things work and others do not. We started Douze because we felt that the big research papers were not really helping the average farmer on the ground. We try to keep our work practical and easy to understand. It is a slow process and we do not always have the answers right away. Most of the people who know us are just local farmers or other researchers who have heard about what we are doing. We just keep our heads down and focus on the science of the plants and the soil.
