Cityfarmers India Private Limited. We are over here in JP Nagar 7th Phase, specifically down 4th Cross in Gaurav Nagar. It’s a busy part of Bangalore, but we try to keep things grounded. We started this because we wanted to see more green stuff in the city. Sometimes the traffic is a nightmare getting to the office, but once you’re inside, it’s all about the plants and how to get them growing in small spaces. There’s a few of us here. We don’t have fancy furniture or a big lobby. It’s just desks, some dirt on the floor occasionally, and a lot of phone calls with people asking how to keep their tomatoes alive. We’ve been at this address, number 65, for a bit now. It’s a quiet enough street compared to the main road. We spend most of our days figuring out the logistics of getting things from one side of Bangalore to the other. It’s not always easy. Sometimes the rains mess up the schedules. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just work with the farmers and the city folks who want to try their hand at growing something. If you walk past, you might see us moving crates around. It's honest work. We don't use big words here. We just focus on the soil and the seeds and making sure things get where they need to go. That’s pretty much the whole story for us.
