Bolpu Farmer Producer Company Limited is located over in the B C Road area. We operate out of the Padma Complex where Raja Bantwala is the person in charge. The building is shared with a service advertiser, so it’s a bit of a busy spot with people coming and going. We are in the Dakshin region and this office serves as the central point for the farmers in our group. It’s not a very large space, just enough for us to keep our papers and have some meetings. Raja is usually there managing the logistics of what the farmers are producing and where it needs to go. B C Road is a busy place with a lot of traffic, which is different from the quiet fields where the actual farming happens. We started this company because it made sense for the local growers to have a common name and a place to meet in town. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks of moving produce and helping each other out with the farming business. It can be a bit loud at the Padma Complex with all the noise from the road, but it’s a convenient spot for everyone to reach. We are just a group of regular people trying to make a living from the land in this part of the district.
