Bhoomimitra Smart Farming India Private Limited is located at No.337 on the 4th Cross in Ams Layout, Vidyaranyapura. It is a fairly quiet residential neighborhood, which makes for a peaceful place to work. We have set up our office in a simple building that blends in with the houses around it. Most of our day is spent trying to figure out how technology can actually make a difference for someone out in a field. We aren't interested in fancy gadgets that nobody can use; we just want things that work. There are a few of us here, and we usually have our computers set up on plain wooden tables. Sometimes the neighbors’ dogs bark during our calls, but that is just part of being in this area. We take turns making coffee and often talk about how the gardens in the layout are doing. It is not a high-pressure environment with suits and boardrooms. We prefer to keep things casual and just focus on the problems we are trying to solve. The 4th Cross is a nice street, and we often see the same people walking by every morning. We do not have a big sign out front or anything like that. People who need us usually find their way here through word of mouth. It is a practical, small-scale operation where we just try to be useful to the farming community in our own way without any unnecessary fuss.
