Vattam Building Materials

Vattam Building Materials is located in the Vattam Complex within the Kolachalam Compound. We are sitting right opposite the old Ksrtc Bus Stand, which makes it very easy to explain where we are to people. Most folks in town know where the old bus stand is, so they just look across the street and see us. It’s a busy corner of the area and there is always something going on outside. We have our yard and the office right here in the complex. It’s a bit of a crowded space because we have a lot of building supplies stacked up, but we know where everything is. We spend our days helping people load up their trucks or just giving advice on what they might need for their small building projects. It’s a lot of physical work and we are usually tired by the end of the day. The Kolachalam Compound has been our home for a while now and we’ve seen the bus stand change over the years. We aren't a big company with many branches, just this one spot where we do our thing. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just walk in or call us on the phone when they need materials. It’s an old-school way of doing business but it works for us. We just try to be honest and keep the shelves stocked with the basics that everyone needs.
