Vasavi Traders

Vasavi Traders is tucked away on Goldsmith Street in Brucepettah. It's 236 on the map, right in the middle of a very busy part of the city. Being on Goldsmith Street means there’s always people walking by or some kind of activity happening right outside our front door. We’ve been operating from this building for quite some time. It's a simple shop, not much to look at from the outside, but it serves its purpose for us. Most of our day is spent handling orders and talking to the people who drop by. We know a lot of the neighbors around here since everyone is packed in pretty close. The building itself is older, which gives it a bit of character I suppose, even if the stairs are narrow. We don't really do much in the way of fancy displays. Most of what we have is just kept in the back or on the shelves where it's easy to reach. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when a delivery arrives and we have to move things around to make space. It’s just how small businesses run in Brucepettah. You get used to the noise and the constant coming and going. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. There’s a tea stall just around the corner where we usually get our morning chai. It’s those little things that make working here alright. We don’t have a fancy computer system; our notes are still done by hand in big registers. It’s an old-fashioned way of doing things, but it works for us and our customers don't seem to mind much.
