We have been set up at the Reddy Compound in Gandhi Nagar for quite a while now. Most people around Bellary know where we are located, right near the 18A/16/14 mark. It is just a regular spot where we keep things moving with all the cement orders that come through. Dealing with heavy bags all day isn't exactly a glamorous job, but it is what we do here. The Karnataka heat gets pretty bad in the afternoons, so we usually try to get the heavy loading done early in the day when we can. It is a busy corner of the neighborhood. Sometimes the trucks get a bit backed up on the road, but we manage to sort it out. If you are looking for the place, you can just ask around for the compound near Gandhi Nagar. We do not have a big fancy lobby or a reception area with air conditioning. It is just a desk, some chairs, and a whole lot of paperwork to keep track of where the bags are going. The staff here mostly grew up around this area, so we know the local roads well enough. It gets very dusty, of course, because of what we handle every day. That is just part of the job. We keep the gates open during the day and it is a straightforward operation. We just show up, handle the inventory, and make sure everything is ready for the drivers.
