Wonder Wok

Wonder Wok is situated in Belgaum at the Mujawar Arcade in Nehru Nagar. If you know the area, we are tucked away right behind the Natural Ice Cream shop. It’s a decent little spot because we are off the main road slightly, but still in a place where people can find us easily. The arcade has a lot of different shops, so there’s always people coming and going. We spend most of our day working with the woks. It’s a lot of heat and noise in the kitchen, but that’s just how it goes. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just make food. Most of our customers are people who live in Nehru Nagar or work in the nearby offices. It’s a pretty simple setup with basic furniture. We try to keep things clean and organized, but when it’s busy, it can get a bit chaotic. The weather in Belgaum is usually quite nice, which helps when the kitchen gets too warm. We have a small crew and we’ve been working together for a while now. People often come in for a meal and then head over to get ice cream next door. It’s a steady routine for us. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure nobody has to wait too long for their food. It’s a basic, local eatery that serves the community here every single day.
