Our shop is located in Khade Bazar, which is a very old and busy market area in Belgaum. We are right near the CBT, which is the main bus stand, so there are always people walking past our door. Khade Bazar is the kind of place where you can find almost anything, and we have been a part of this market for many years now. It gets very crowded on the weekends when everyone from the surrounding villages comes into town to do their shopping. The streets are narrow and it can be quite a struggle to get through sometimes, but that is the charm of this part of Belgaum. We operate out of a modest space and we know many of the other shopkeepers around here. It feels like a small community even though it is a big market. We don't have a lot of modern fixtures or a big sign, just a simple place where we conduct our business every day. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to Khade Bazar for years and they know exactly where to find us. We just open up in the morning and stay until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. There is no big story behind what we do, we just provide what the people in Belgaum need from a shop like ours. It is steady work and we enjoy being in the middle of all the action.
