Surekha Restaurant

Our restaurant is located on Khanapur Road in Udyambag, Belgaum. We are right near the Tata Showroom, which makes us easy to spot if you are driving by. This area is mostly industrial, so we have a lot of people from the nearby factories coming in for their lunch. We have been here for a long time and the place looks its age. We don't mind that. It is a practical space with heavy tables that can handle a lot of use. We don't have a big menu. We just cook a few things and we try to do them the same way every time. Most of our customers are regulars. We know their names and what they like to eat. The traffic on Khanapur Road is very loud, especially with all the trucks, but we are used to it by now. We spend our mornings prepping for the lunch rush, which is the busiest part of our day. It is a lot of chopping vegetables and getting the rice ready. We don't have any fancy mission statements or marketing talk. We are just a local business trying to make a living. Sometimes things go wrong, like a fuse blowing or a delivery being late, but we just fix it and move on. It is a simple, honest way to run a place in an industrial area like Udyambag.
