Shanti Sagar Restaurant

Our restaurant is part of the Shanti Sagar Hotel, right at the Jamboti Cross on Goa Road. If you are driving through Khanapur towards Belgaum, you will probably see our sign. It is a handy spot for travelers who are on their way to Goa or coming back. We have been serving food here for some time now. The place isn't big, just some tables and chairs where people can sit down and have a quick meal. We get a lot of truck drivers and families who are tired from the road. The kitchen stays busy most of the day, especially around lunch. We make regular food that people in this area like. Nothing complicated. It's mostly local regulars from the village and folks passing through the intersection. The staff here are all local guys. We don't have fancy menus or anything. Just the daily stuff written on the board or what the waiter tells you. It gets a bit dusty outside because of the road traffic, but we keep the inside okay. The crossroads can be noisy with all the lorries shifting gears. We open early in the morning for breakfast. Most people just stop for a tea and a snack before moving on. If you are at Jamboti Cross, that is where we are. It’s just a normal roadside place to eat while you travel.
