Sandeep Cement Shop

I have been working here at Sandeep Cement Shop on Khanapur Road for a while now. Belgaum is a busy place and this road sees a lot of traffic every single morning. Most days start pretty early because that is when the trucks arrive with the new loads of cement. We are located at number 193. It is a simple building, nothing too fancy to look at from the outside. The walls are mostly covered in a fine layer of grey dust because that is just what happens when you move bags around all day long. I spend a lot of time just keeping things organized and making sure the stacks don’t lean too much. Sometimes it gets really hot in the afternoon and we just sit near the front to catch a bit of a breeze from the street. People from the neighborhood stop by to ask about prices or just to say hello while they are heading somewhere else. It is a lot of heavy lifting and my back feels it by the end of the week. The rain in Belgaum can be a bit of a problem because we have to make sure every single bag stays dry or it is a total loss. We use heavy plastic sheets for that. There isn’t a whole lot to say about the shop other than it is a regular place where we do our work. We don't have a big office or anything like that. Just a desk and some chairs.
