Balaji Cements

Our office is at House Number 28, Mumtaz Manzil, over on 5th Cross in Veerbhadra Nagar. It’s a residential-feeling area in Belgaum but we manage all our cement business from right here. Moving bags of cement is heavy work and the dust gets everywhere no matter how much you clean. We usually have a few guys around to help with the lifting when the delivery vans arrive. The street is a bit tight, so parking can be a headache sometimes for the bigger trucks. We spend most of our time on the phone or talking to builders who come by for their supplies. It is a basic setup with a few desks and some samples sitting in the corner. We don't have a website or anything like that, we just rely on people knowing where we are. The coffee shop down the road is where we usually take our breaks. It gets busy during the construction season and the days can get quite long. We just try to keep the inventory moving so nothing sits for too long in the damp weather. It’s just us doing our bit in the local building trade. Nothing more, nothing less. If you find the Mumtaz Manzil building, you’ve found us. We’ve been in this spot for a while and most folks around here are used to the noise. We keep the doors open and just get on with the day's tasks as they come.
