Rahul DUM Biriyani & Fish Cornor is my place in Shahapur. If you are near Shivaji Garden, you’ll see us right across the way. It’s a good spot because people like to walk in the garden and then they get hungry. I’ve been cooking biriyani here for a long time. We also do fish, which people seem to like. It’s a simple setup. We have the big pots out front so you can smell what’s cooking. It isn't a very big shop, so it gets crowded pretty fast, especially on the weekends. Belgaum has a lot of food places, but we just do our own thing here in 590003. I don't use any fancy machines. Everything is done by hand, the way I learned. Sometimes the floor gets a bit messy when we're busy, but we clean it up when we can. I’m usually there from early morning getting the spices ready. I don't really have a big staff, just some family members who help out when they aren't at school or their other jobs. We don't spend money on ads. We just hope the food is good enough that people come back. It’s a basic place for people who just want to eat and go. I’ve been doing this for years now and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. It’s just what I know how to do and it keeps me going every day.
