Padmashree Pure VEG Restaurant

Padmashree Pure VEG Restaurant is located in Tilakwadi, right in the Bhagya Nagar area of Belgaum. It’s a nice neighborhood and we’ve been around here for a long time now. We focus entirely on vegetarian food because that’s what we know how to cook. The place isn't very large, so it feels quite small when it's full of people from the nearby houses. We don't do any of that fancy modern cooking or try to follow what's on TV. We just stick to the traditional recipes that people in Belgaum usually like. The morning starts with getting the vegetables from the market and prepping for the lunch crowd. It’s a lot of chopping and grinding spices by hand. We don't have a professional photographer for our food or anyone to manage a website. We just let the food be what it is. Most of our customers are families who don’t feel like cooking at home that day. We know many of them by name since they’ve been coming here since they were kids. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed and we don't rush anyone to finish their meal. It’s just a local spot where you can get a plate of food and sit for a bit. We’re just happy to be doing business in the Tilakwadi community. There is no mystery to it.
