Mayfair Banquets

Our office is set up in Bangalore at Flat No-242. We are on the 5th Main, 1st Cross, in the 2nd Stage of the Kumaraswamy Layout. It is a bit of a residential spot for a banquet business, but it works for us. We do most of our planning and meetings from this flat. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift isn’t working, but we don’t mind the exercise. Kumaraswamy Layout is a nice area with a lot of trees and local shops. We spend our time talking to people about their events, like weddings or parties. There are a lot of phone calls to vendors and checking on decorations. The living room of the flat is where we usually sit down with families to talk about their plans. It is more relaxed than a cold office building. We have been here for a while and the locals know us. Sometimes we have samples of fabrics or menu prints lying around the tables. It gets a bit busy when a big event is coming up, but that is the nature of the work. We don't use any fancy marketing talk. We just tell people what we can do and then we try to make it happen for them. It is a straightforward way of doing business from our little spot in Bangalore. It feels more like a community here than a commercial zone. We keep the balcony doors open when the weather is nice.
