Genpact

Genpact has an office here in Belgaum, specifically at B.C. 85 in the Camp area. The pin code is 590001. Camp is a nice part of town, usually a bit greener than the rest of the city. The building isn't huge, but it's where we all gather to get our shifts done. Working in Belgaum is different from the bigger cities like Bangalore; it’s a bit slower, and people actually take the time to talk to each other. Our office at B.C. 85 is pretty basic inside. We have our computers, some uncomfortable chairs, and a water cooler that always seems to be empty when you're thirsty. It’s a practical environment. We deal with a lot of data and processes every day. The rain in Karnataka can be something else, and sometimes we’re all drying our umbrellas by the door while we work. We don't have those fancy break rooms you see in movies with ping pong tables. We mostly just eat at our desks or go to a small shop nearby for a quick snack. It’s a steady job. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and the local rickshaw drivers know exactly where to drop us off. It's not a flashy life, but it’s our daily routine. We focus on the tasks at hand and try to get through the pile of work before the day ends. It’s just us doing what we do.
